WEGHV passed the audit for recertification as a specialised waste management company (Efb) by the testing company TÜV Rheinland with flying colours in October 2022.

WEGHV branch manager Dr. Cuervo was pleased with the positive feedback from the auditors and attributes this to the company’s internal efforts: “Our processes are subject to constant optimisation. The fact that WEGHV employees took part in 26 external and 12 internal courses and further training in 2022 alone shows that we take this very seriously. We also attach great importance to professional competence, which is why two employees have started the three-year training programme for metal traders offered by ‘Verband Deutscher Metallhändler und Recycler e.V.’.”
The recertification was prepared and supported for the first time by Achim Eckholt, certified QMO and QM representative at WEGHV since 2021. The result is impressive: there were no deviations, and the auditors only made recommendations to improve minor points. The very well established processes are part of a continuous development process and are therefore reviewed regularly.

The auditors were extremely positive about the very well organised management and intensive staff training, as well as the WEGHV employees’ expertise and commitment.

Our team: as valuable as gold.

Our employees remain our most valuable asset. We are therefore delighted to introduce a new team member.
Silke Finken joined our sales controlling team on 1 July 2022. The financial advisory specialist brings her expertise as an advisor for precious metal investments to the table. She most recently demonstrated her knowledge as a money laundering officer at Rheinische Scheidestätte.
A win-win situation: for WEGHV and our customers.

Because gold and precious metal recycling is a matter of trust:

WEGHV GmbH from Bönen was awarded the CrefoZert credit rating certificate by Creditreform Hamm for the first time in October 2021. Managing Director Dan Mutschler accepted the certificate. The seal of quality shows that WEGHV GmbH meets the most stringent assessment criteria for solvency, liquidity and balance sheet ratios.
Dan Mutschler comments: “This means that WEGHV GmbH is one of the 2 percent of German companies that are certified as having an exceptionally good credit rating. Our customers entrust us with their valuable precious metals. So it’s only fair that we prove to them that they are in safe hands.”
